In Texas the Vaughn family is well known for music. Over the years SRV went nation wide and then died in a plane crash like so many other Rockers. He was the little brother who grew up in my neighborhood. We watched him grow into one of the best guitarist at the time.This exposure was one of eight 4x5 sheets exposed at the Continental Club in Austin. One of the oldest Blues Clubs in the City

I fell in love with SRV at the Playboy Jazz festival Sunday June 16, 1985. Two days after my boyfriend proposed to me. This photo took me there to those sweet memories...and we're still married.
