Following man-made and natural disasters, the air in 2012 is too toxic to breath. A massive exodus to safer locations occurs.
New York City is deserted.

Amazing photo!! I'm not sure I go along with your, narrative. I think your work is contemporary. It is in the context of the present and not the future. It shows us something gritty and makes us look at life in a real sense. It does not preach doom, it shows us the reality of life and makes us consider what is happening and to think of the possibilites of changing it for the better.

thanks for your feedback kimberly...you pretty much got my concept and artist statement written out. By making these scenes "futuristic" it forces us to question the "now" in which these photo are taken. When people see photographs in context they often don't question or engage in conversations about the "then".
