I suppose we all think of Tools of the Trade as hammers, wrenches and machines. These workers are employing a more natural method to clean carrots before they are taken to market in La Paz. A (very cold) river, some stones to form a dam, trousers wrapped in plastic and plenty of hard graft. Much industrialisation has yet to arrive in Bolivia. Innovation and traditional methods continue to take precedence.
