And a roof makes it home

Geno Hinman is homeless and lives on the streets in Covington, Kentucky. He regularly sleeps in this Buick on the lot of a Chevron gas station on Fourth Street. The owner of the gas station leaves old cars on the lot for the homeless men to sleep in. There is no shelter for homeless men in Covington. The men living on the streets of the city sleep in cars, abandoned buildings, and under bridges.

Great documentary on this area. I spent several months working in the Cinci area and often stayed in Covington on the river. On my daily walks I often saw the homeless and the remants of where they stayed. I agree with Stacey. I applaud the gas station owner for his/her generosity to this vulnerable population.
