Rear Window, Handlery Union Square Hotel
the old glass
rippled and wavy
warps the view
falsifying the lines
that were so
true and straight
age alters so many things
does the impression
our eyes make
of the word
get skewed
as they too
grow old
(ps - this image was not manipulated in photoshop - This is really how it looked through the 5th floor stairway window of the Handlery Union Square Hotel in San Francisco)

Katy, yes I did write these words - back when I was feeling poetic - I need to find that again.
