Graffiti is Not Art! (or is it?)

This is what Americans see going by on the rails everyday. What exactly is the point of the graffiti anyway? To CN (the owner of this boxcar) this is graffiti. To us, this is art.

    What is the point of art that hangs on walls in museums? It's the same thing, a way of being creative and showing the world. It would be boring if everything was one plain color everywhere you went. This world needs graffiti and Art to liven things up! But being creative is only one of many reasons for graffiti.

    @Desiree: I agree with you here. We both see this as art. However, the owner of this boxcar (Canadian National) sees this as vandalism. The title was set to please those who do not appreciate the artistry here (namely the powers that be).
