This is the cross that marks the Sunken Cemetery that can be found in the island of Camiguin.
The volcanic eruption of Mt Vulcan at 1871 was the main reason the cemetery now lies 20 feet underwater in Bario Bonbon, Catarman. And to reach this cross from the shore, you have to ride rented bancas.
The tombstones of the ancestors of the Camiguin people where now coral encrusted. With beautiful marine life and unique corals, this Sunken Cemetery is a great site for snorkel and scuba diving enthusiast.
