Miners' monument in the Salt Cathedral, Zipaquirá, Colombia.

The sign reads the following (excuse my translation):

"They are roots, they are skins,
they are leaves, they are animals,
they are symbols -muiscas-
they are minerals, they are seeds,
they are people...
that leave the mark in their helmets.
Helmets that are taken to oblivion.
Helmets that belong to that man that
faces himself to the rock and molds it, transforms
it, to a world of darkness."
Alberto Ferrero

Original version:
Alberto Ferrero
