day of the dead
I took this picture on november 1st 2006, day of the dead in Romania. These gypsies were celebrating in a very different and unusual way compared to everybody else. They were drinking, yelling and pouring drinks on the grave, while the usual custom is to pay your respect quietly, light candles, reminisce, etc.
I asked if I could take their picture and they agreed. It is a 1.6 seconds exposure, hence the blurry, ghostly faces.
