Yo-yo Professional

Bumped into a Yo-yo professional the other day. Apparently he was a finalist at the 2006 US Nationals in Chico, California and now has a t-shirt contract. With his black glove and trick Yo-Yo, he's able to make a living performing "cradles" and an assortment of other mesmerizing Yo-Yo tricks.

The Yo-yo Professional’s tool is something far richer than a kid’s toy. Rather, the Yo-yo is emblematic of “life” itself. It’s molded. It’s held. It sleeps. It experiences ups and downs.

Great work, just amazing. Getting the focus right with that slim a depth of field, on what I assume is a fast-moving object, I'm just stunned.
