the deaf can hear...

...and the blind can see. that's what our future holds.
this little girl is holding her "ear" (aka cochlear implant) in her hand. without this little device, she is deaf. with this device, she hears as well as the average hearing person. i wonder how bionic our bodies will be in the future? for the moment, i'm thankful that my daughter has a bionic ear, that technology has allowed my deaf child to hear.
