Church
In September 2005, was invited to visit the now disused Maze Prison just outside Lisburn Co Antrim, Northern Ireland.
The Maze site is being demolished to make way for an international sports stadium.
The hospital wing, which I was in and one H-block will be preserved as a museum and memorial to the Troubles.
The prison had a church / chapel. It was used by most of the denominations including the prison officers.
Not only were church services carried out in this room, but weddings and baptisms too!
