It sickens me think of the plight of the "feeble minded" (their words, not mine) of this country. The way youths were treated at the Ladd School in Exeter, RI was barbaric. Don't believe me? Check out this site, theladdschool.com, and the many other sites that have exposed the injustices of mental institutions.
Now this place is literally a ghost town and the ghost stories outnumber the stories of past abuses. Falling apart and overgrown with vegetation, it makes for some great photos and haunted happenings. But before you think of going there, the police and private security make sure no one causes any more trouble.
