I like the irony of this photo. couldn't you just see yourself crawling across the desert, hungry and thirsty, like in the movies, finding a diner sign like this and get close only to watch it disappear as a mirage?

Great image - your "hand-colored b/w" technique is great with the subject matter. You have my vote!

beautifully controlled color and contrast! Make the vision kind of surrealistic, Composition is also just right. Voted.
    構圖恰到好處,漂淡的色彩和加重的陰影很有味道,整個題材帶有一種超現實的懸疑感。

Astonishing skyline, perfectly offset by the pathos of the lonely sign. I've been to the Mojave desert before, it's a mystical place.

Vote! And now a word to our sponsors...I am writing about a rather disturbing issue. On Nov 20th I decided to upgrade my membership to a JPG+ one year membership. I paid the $24.99 USD through my paypal account which shows as a $27.50Can

debit from my bank account on Nov. 23. The reason for the upgrade was twofold- one to be supportive of this website and publication and two for the spotlights in order to spotlight fellow members work that I believe in. It is now the 28th of November and still there is no sign of the upgrade on my profile page. I have tried logging out and back in to no avail. I emailed the contact us 3 or four times with no response. I posted a pic with text outlining this situation and expressing my frustration and there was a fellow member who posted a comment saying that his wife experienced the same thing- paid for an upgrade which she didn't receive and also no response from emailing her concerns. What is the deal here? is JPG in the habit of ripping it's members off like this? I will post this to comments as well in photos that have high exposure if this issue is not resolved to my and Joe Failk's wife's satisfaction. Shame on JPG for this.
