From the Shadows
I was taking pictures of this gelatinous goo that I noticed on this baseball sized cactus on a neighbors porch. These spines are under a quarter of an inch in length, to give an idea of the size of this tiny spider that came out of the shadows on me. He approached from the blurred depth of field as if he were stalking my lens, this blurred shadow, it was kind of creepy, then he perched, as if protecting his domain. Then he just watched me, until I was done.
