Pão de Açúcar
the view from Corcavado mountain, overlooking Rio and Sugarloaf mountain.
Shot in Rio, Brasil. The most beautiful, ugly, city on earth.

i like the color but i wish it was in landscape orientation instead of portrait.

Nick Payne Cook said (12 September 2007):
wow - thanks for all the comments people!
@ tani nakamoto - i did shoot this as a landscape too, but you loose so much of the depth that way, you have to choose to frame the shot without the rolling mountains in the distance, or Rio in the foreground, neither of those things was is worth loosing for the sake of capturing a bit more of the bay in the middle (in my humble opinion =) )
