During my travels in Japan I went to the city of Hirosaki for the cherry blossom festival. Along with the festivities there is a carnival and lots of vendors. This particular vendor sells whole fish that are roasted over charcoal and heavily salted. Apparently a very traditional festival food. Yummy!
