This same photo is taken everyday on every photo shoot by every assistant on the planet. The only difference is that it's a shot of Agyness. I think it says more about people's obsession with hype and beauty than anything else. Just ask yourself how much you would like this photo if an ugly nobody was the main subject. That's what I thought.

Consider your audience for a minute: a shot setup that may seem trite and overdone to you, as someone working in the industry, can be a fresh perspective for readers of a photography magazine.
Also, if it was a picture of an ugly nobody, I would guess that Patric wouldn't be displaying it. It's clear from his body of work that he has plenty of skill in creating interesting, well-composed shots—with our without the help of a hottie. -

I had no idea who this model was when I first saw that issue, and still don't for that matter. In fact, until reading the other comments, I didn't even know she was a model. But I certainly agree that it was more than worthy of being on the cover.
