Tribute to the Fallen At Ft. Hood,Texas
On November 5, 2009 a gunman
Major Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire in the Readiness Center and killed 13 American soldiers and wounded 30. These soldiers were unarmed and were there with at this location with their families. The gunman was shot and wounded in an exchange of gunfire by a civilian police officer, Kimberly Munley.
