Day 9/365 Heroes Past and Present

This is for my grandfather, my dad and everyone who has ever served and protected...

I understand there are individuals who are not supportive; however, I think each and every one of us at some point has loved someone who has fought for our freedom. It is not about what we believe personally; it is about honoring those who have risked their lives so that we can live ours.

Yes, I painted myself green.

    One of the most remarkable photos I have ever seen here, or anywhere, in tribute to our armed forces. It is highly reminiscent of the photos of our sailors when they were pulled from the sea, during World War II, after their ships had gone down. They were covered in oil and grime. Congratulations, Dawn!

    Dawn an extraordinary tribute to the fallen. Today here in NZ it is the 11.11.09. 91 years ago at 11 minutes to 11 am that Armistice Day was declared in the first World War, hostilities ceased between the warring parties. Thank you.
