Snowelle Sunning
My cat suns herself on a perch my dad built for her. She loves this spot in a south window and watching birds.
I posted a story on pet photos with a few tips. I never use a flash on pets because of their retina reflection and it flattens out the texture of their fur. A white cat or pet is particularly difficult unless well lit (like in the sun) but it is also possible at night with good lighting to get good exposures.
I always try to be eye level and often capture just her face up close, my favorite images of her and those green-gold eyes she has closed in this shot.
