Day 291/365 SP I Turn My Back To Face The Sun
Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, clear as the sun..
Song of Solomon 6:10..
I turn my back
To face the sun
There is no lack
Of God's own son,
Who lights the way
For us each day.
Poetry by me AJP
This is a SP that I did this afternoon and I decided to try something different and not face the camera. I pinned in a hair piece to attach to my own hair which is not that long. I just had to be truthful. My own hair didn't get long overnight with a magic grow potion.) I liked the lighting to where I am facing and decided to work my SP in the direction of the sun which rim-lit my shoulders. In evaluating my work, I wish I would have tucked my sleeve in the jumper a little better as it looks like it is bunched up on the side. Of course you don't see this in a self timer when taking a photo of yourself. Also one of the straps on my jumper is twisted. I am probably more critical of myself when I see something I don't like. But I love the lighting on this beautiful Nov. day.

I love this new look Andrea!!! Before I read what you wrote under this one I went back into some older photos of you trying to determine if your hair was that long and I had just not noticed it - lol : ). The hairpiece looks really nice, I like this back pose a lot and the lighting on your shoulder is great! I don't think that the bunched clothes on the side is detractive at all and I never noticed the twisted strap until you mentioned it.

So....beautiful, Andrea. Superb lighting. Love how this clearly shows you enjoying the warmth of the sun on your face without seeing your facial expression.
