Blood on the Grass
Heroes do die;
however, the substance that maintains the legacy,
of their meaning and purpose,
lives-on through the prosperity and freedoms we enjoy--
as well through the sacrifices and efforts
put forth by those who remain.
Hence, respectfully-ensuring and protecting such liberties,
for future generations.
This for which,
I am deeply grateful.

James, you cannot imagine my reaction to reading this. I've spent the last two days in Arlington National Cemetery, where so many of my family are resting. My sincere thanks to you.
