You are sooooo right, dp!!! I would have never thought this to go with prison wire, but it works very well; and I am not being facetious in the least! Incredible the way the figure eights seem to waltz.

Wow! Cool shot! This is very symbolic of how there is a glimmer of hope showing through the imprisonment of the barb wire in the open spaces to the sky and the clouds.

i am living close to the city jailhouse; passing each day the 8 meter high wall, the fences on it, the maximum security prison ... almost packed in that kind of barbwire (nato barbwire # 1) ...
so far your photo is a sort of day-nightmare, but a good one -
