“Sunrise, Sunset” [Don Garrett]
In addition to being a great photographer and JPG participant, Don Garrett is an accomplished musician. He takes such wonderful sunrise and sunset pictures that it seems quite natural to honor him with an issue titled for a popular song from “Fiddler on the Roof”. [PROP 1 below.]
Don, with JPG publishing only 1 image on its cover… and with the magazine having now gone to QUARTERLY [and digital no less], it seems few of us can ever expect to be on the real cover. But I’m certain I speak for a host of people you’ve both impressed and supported here when I say you can be on our cover ANY time!
They say that behind any great an is a great woman… and we thank Susan for enabling Don to be such an active part of the JPG community!!
Don, this cover is YOURS, and you’ve EARNED it!! Keep clickin’, my friend!! We all love you!

In Oz we call a person like Don a "True Blue" a song by John Williamson (and well worth uploading). True Blue meaning; a great mate:)

What I enjoy in the works of Senior Citizen's like Don is the ability to keep learning the art of photography and who hones his skills to improve his techniques. There are many people in our age group who give up on life and some have not even learned how to turn on a computer ...Congratulations Don for getting on Rob's excellent cover...you deserve the honor..
