I love to read about bands, music, and singers. Current happenings, events in the past, and fictional stories are all of interest to me.

Guitar Girl by Sarra Manning lets me imagine what it would be like to work in a band. It's a fictional story with lots of drama and conflict. I get to journey with Molly Montgomery of The Hormones as she gains more fame and publicity throughout the story and has to find out what is really important to her. In the end, she receives a written note and custom-made guitar from her guitar hero, Ruby X. She realizes that despite everything that has happened to her, she can still change someone's life forever just by writing a song.
