Sip from a Golden Cup
Monarch nectaring after a shower. This particular one was slow moving - it was still chilly. Something to remember when photographing insects.

An incredible macro May!!! I know people who put them ine freezer for a few seconds before photographing them. I think it is mean and won't do it.

Regenia - they do it with butterflies, moths and dragons as well. I don't approve either. For the butterflies and moths, it can damage or remove the scales and how don't you do damage to the web of veins in a dragonfly's wing? That's just my 2 cents. Besides, it's more a challenge this way. Patience. Patience.
