Iceburg in Iceburg Alley
This was taken late spring earlier this year just west of Cape Norman near the very tip of northern Newfoundland. The iceburg was grounded offshore and the very high winds were were causing waves to smash into it. The wind would then catch the resulting spray and blow it over the burg.
This was taken in part of an area known as Iceburg Alley ... so called because there are so many iceburgs drifting past during late spring and early summer.
