Memorial Park
Where on Anzac Day old/new soldiers, the public and dignitaries gather to commemorate the heroic deeds in days gone by. The names of those soldiers who fought and died, from this area, in World War 1 and 2 and other wars are forever remembered on plaques affixed to the walls.

These memorials are the saddest places. So many sons, husbands, and fathers. A wonderful diptych tribute.

And the band played "Waltzing Matilda." So far from home, so close to God. Bless them all.

This is a beautiful tribute Sue! There is no doubt we Aussies & Kiwis have fought battles far from our own countries, "Lest We Forget". But the ANZACS keep our two beautiful countries united in time forever! Beautiful image Sue.
