my taste of switzerland...for now

Since childhood, I've been dreaming and wanting to go and see Switzerland. It was so imprinted in my memory of childhood how clean and beautiful this country is. I remember that my teacher told us that the swiss make the most prestigious watches in the world. Until I realize my dream, I'm happy to have this swiss made watch close to me.A gift from my daughter from her first paycheck from a real job after graduation.
Sweet things to remember.

    A nice tribute and a nice shiny shot! When I was a kid, my dad wanted three things: A Swiss watch, a German cuckoo clock, and a "stereo" (made where, I do not know). We've still got all three!

    Thank you Susan and PG, I'm sure Dawn would love a company. RV, I think unconsciously I have it in red and shiny. I read somewhere that to make your dreams become concrete it to state it clearly and have a photo to remember it by. This is the first step. Thank you all.

    Thanks, Dawn for the spotlight! Now lots of people will wish that my dream comes true and I knew it will. Last night, I just randomly told my husband that we should plan to go to Switzerland. He was taken by surprise and was laughing. He was just wondering that out of the blue I just suddently blurted that out. Hey, iI'm taking it step by step.

    The Museum Watch. Very sweet that your daughter spent her first paycheck on you. Lucky you. I bought my husband two of these and he broke them both (through the washer and crushed the other I think). I always wanted one for myself and probably should have bought it for me instead of him.
