It was raining when I woke up this morning and has not stopped yet. Rainy days are great for curling up with a book, writing, naps, visiting with the kids, and eating chili. I love cheese on mine.

Chili Recipe
Brown one small diced onion. Add a package of hamburger meat and cook till done. Rinse all the grease off hamburger under hot water. Add three cans of Bushes chili beans, one package of McKormics chili mix and one can diced tomatoes. Add garlic, chili powder, pepper, and salt to taste. Add two bay leaves. Simmer on low heat for as long as your stomache can wait.

A lot of that stuff and it will put some weight on you!! :-) Looks wonderful. Have you ever tried putting a layer of Fritos on the bottom?

Oh Don has a point.....I must have fritos with my chili....and maybe some cheese!! It is raining here in Va too, and they say it will til the wee hours. So will be inside tomorrow, my day off!!!

Oh yum, that makes me hungry...I don't know of anyone who doesn't like Chili..I make it with Boca, a substitute for beef and I can't tell the difference in the taste...Chili even tastes better the next day...

This looks so delicious!!! Now I am craving chili - with onions, cheese and either Fritoes or crackers!!! Gary, the cap full of cider vinegar sounds like it would be nice in chili also, I'll have to try it : )

Great shot, and so crystal clear....it makes me hungry too! I like a dab of sour cream on the top. I too like it with cheese, fritos or crackers, and I especially like corn bread on the side!! Now I'm really hungry!

I love fritos in my chili and my taco salad but I am out at the time Donald. I expecially love the new scoop ones. They are fantasitic with my bbq.
