Who are these that fly as a cloud...to their windows?

The Purple Finch had not been around for awhile and I shot this image today through the window as a young male stopped to eat at the feeder.

Super capture of this little guy, we have green finch, bull finch, gold finch, chaff finch I never heard of the purple finch...he is lovely..
