And you have done it again :-) I can only smile as I look at these boats...the rust and faded paint gives them so much character. They are perfectly positioned in the frame; and I sit and imagine myself hopping into one and drifting off to wherever the current takes me :-)

Rob, you keep pulling us deeper and deeper into the New England fall. It is captivating. These shots of yours are remind me of so many pleasant memories from my youth.

My first thought when I studied this picture is to wonder why the boats are tipped upside down submerged in water and not tied securely on dry land...Whatever the reason I think it adds interest to the image and it is a beautiful one at that.

A sense of temporary abandonment is the mood. After Labor Day, this is how it is in New England. A beautiful capture. Perfectly composed, as always. (I want to go with Dawn). Down here in FL the boats never vacation.

What I like about this shot is that it makes me wonder about those capsized boats. Are they salvage? Is that grass someone's yard? Well, done, Rob!

A terrific find and capture Rob! I am like Warren and wondering about the boats. I have been pricing them lately and hate to think that those have been abandoned. It does make for a beautiful picture Rob.
