Peace in the Sand
Twelve Mile Beach is really 12 miles of wonderful beach along Picture Rocks National Shoreline outside of Munising Michigan on Lake Superior. After driving down a "closed road" we stopped at the first access for cars, ran down a long staircase to an empty beach that stretched as far as you can see. Someone left this old hippie a present in the sand!
