The Hustlers and The Bustlers!
Armillaria sp.(Probably!)
I am fairly certain these are Honey fungi but I could be wrong.
Another group spotted at the side of the road. This time close to a bus stop.By the time I had finished shooting I had quite a crowd of people watching and asking questions!!!
Probably my last image for a couple of weeks,as I have a whole stack of chores to complete before the onset of winter, and with the decided lack of fungi this year I thought I would give my camera gear a bit of a rest.It will also give me time to do a bit more commenting as I have been a little lax recently.
Thanks for looking :)

They look like trumpets from a Dr. Seuss book.

A cracking shot Martin -- you're King of the Mushrooms:-) Eithne Mythen is dead on with the fairy thing, and John Linton with Dr. Seuss.
