Stew
It seems, when the world is out of sorts, I cook. It was beef stew today (we normally don't eat beef at all anymore - this was grass-fed, organic). My "kitchen" herb garden of basil, parsley and thyme was hit hard last night with temps just slightly above freezing. I decided to snip all three and throw them into this recipe so I could get one more meal out of them.
I took this just prior to cooking, drizzled over some olive oil and red zin, and let it simmer for 6 hours.
