your first lesson? geez. you've got the gift. the lighting is so great. love the look of this. i have to investigate what a 4x5 view camera looks like, though i have somewhat of an idea. love your new toy! amazing results.

Thank you, I wish I could take credit for the lighting, that was already set up for me, and I wish I could say that the 'toy' was mine...just sharing. I did learn how to use a light meter (sort of) and I composed the shot, but as I said it was a lesson. Hopefully soon I will be able to do this on my own, although it won't be as much fun then :)

Oh Penny, Penny, Penny, you are going to have so much fun with the 4x5. The best thing is learning to slow down and study your subject. But, I have a feeling that once you learn the dogma of the large format camera you will start to break all the rules. After all that's what makes you an uniquely creative individual. Enjoy.

OH Penny, you are going to get hooked on 4x5.... After a couple of years of not owning a 4x5, I just picked on up about a month ago. Have fun.
