Abstract Impressionism in Photography:
The once esoteric art of photography has become a mainstream avocation. Nowadays, anyone and everyone can shoot a photo. As an artist, I strive to make photography personal. I admire good photos and photographers, but I commend highly those that put their own mark in their passion. I am learning techniques that go beyond the traditional "point and shoot", and this set ("Abstract Impressionism") is a collection of photos that have a deep personal connection with me. I hope to present to the observer the expressive, lyrical and thoughtful qualities that are in these "paintings".
