The Tufty Club!
Sulphur Tuft-Hypholoma fasciculare
I've had very little time to get out this weekend but I did find an hour over lunch today to visit a local stretch of woodland. It is still extremely dry here so I didn't hold out much hope of finding anything.I was lucky to find this patch of very young fungi on my way back to the car.The largest head was just over a quarter of an inch in diameter.Shot in dark shade with a background of sunlit bracken I had to use fill-in flash.I didn't quite get everything spot-on with this shot but thought it was worth showing.
Thanks for looking :)

I think it is fabulous!!! It looks like a tiny town for elves. Beautifully composed and just the right amount of fill. So glad you go a break today Martin.
