I shot this image back in 2004, at the premises of a precision engineering workshop. The man is behind a oil- and chemical-stained window, fixing a piece of equipment inside a computerised-numerical control machine.

I remember very clearly the feeling I had when I shot this image. I felt like I was watching a wide-screen "cinerama" movie, in a dark theatre.

I had all but forgotten about this image until this morning, when I re-visited the company to do another article about it.

But all along, this image stayed somewhere at the back of my mind - because personally I like it even though I know this is not the sort of image that would immediately elicit a "Wow!".

Hope you like it too ;-)

To me it is like he is in a water tank of some sort. Aquaman!

This is what REAL photography is all about. You've composed a beautiful frame while the image evokes just the right amount of mystery and emotion.

    Bravo!
