Gahein and I were immediately floored. The sheer immensity of the ground floor was astonishing, but we had little time to lose, and we were seen entering. Up the stairs we quickly fled, looking for areas that would draw less attention to our presence.
The first room was comparative to a monolith. It had equipment littered around, and it's length spread out of sight. It was the turbine hall, and back in the day, it would have been generating all the power this indoor city would need.
The amazement continued to keep hypothermia at bay as we prodded every corner, always being greeted by something new and exciting.
We knew the adventure had only begun to deliver the goods.
