Water testing
In a muddy spring
Is a cool treat
Soothing and resting
For tender bare feet,
But not good news
At all
If you walk
On a sharp rock
And almost fall
Back into your shoes!

I am not sure what possessed me to try this but it was fun until I stepped on some rocks!:) I do remember when very young, I went barefoot a lot at the home place until I walked on broken glass...on my way to go wading in the creek. Maybe I was trying to recapture my youth here:)

I can remember going barefoot most of the time and rarely getting sick. Those were the days!! Wonderful SP and poem Andrea!

Yes, the water was rather icy Donald...but what we won't do for JPG:). Maybe I not only stepped on rocks but they also entered my head:) It was a fun and impromptu SP, anyway ...not planned out. Thanks to all for your kind words!
