empty spaces (week 3)
the berkelouw bookstore. paddington.
level 3. the second hand floor.
its always empty. waiting.
i found this place 13 years ago. its without a doubt, my utter most absolute favourite place to shoot photos. it has been now since i picked up a camera. but then i also go there and just hang. lately its to slide around on the old wooden ladder, find the oldest, smelliest book i can.
then, the sun smashes that window at about 11am, i quickly pull up the blinds, and when shooting through a plastic lens you never ever know what will happen...
the berkelouw. it kicks ass.

Petey, i just love this photo! I didn't get to visit this bookstore when i was there, but i did pass it at one point. I remember looking all along the main street, until i saw it. because of this photo... next time, i'm going for sure!
