The bananas were left too long and are beyond using, even in a banana bread. New ones await their turn on the banana holder hoping that their fate will be better than the ones that hung there before them.

This reminds me of the bananas that my mother bought when we took her grocery shopping last week...They got ripe very quickly before we could help her eat them...This is a great one for the theme...Perfect! My vote!
