This was after my mom's second battle with breast cancer. She found out about the second tumor within days of her 5 year anniversary of the first one. She the strongest person I know, and was more of a rock for me throughout her battle with cancer than I was for her. She is okay now, 3 years since the last surgery and going strong. She was excited to take this photo, hoping that it would help others through their experience. She's thought about tattooing the mastectomy area, but decided against it; as it serves as a reminder for the obstacles she has overcome.
I love you mom.
