I have three hermit crabs, and their habitat was too small. So, the other day, I bought a 10 gallon terrarium setup for them. I didn't even have it fully set up when my largest hermit decided he liked one of the new shells. As you can see from the background, I was still rearranging cables and wires, and hadn't even taped a backdrop onto the habitat yet. It's not often that you get to see hermits switch shells like that.
Another one of them also switched shells, but I didn't see it happen.
