From above the East River in the Roosevelt Island Tramway. Does anyone get the title reference?
Created using a Diana+ camera with a 35mm back and Lomo Redscale film. Negative scanned with my Epson v700 Perfection scanner. No digital manipulation other than cleaning way too much scanner dust!

Dark Water, the remake of the Japanese horror film. Your Creepy cool photo is a wonderful homage.

nö and John are correct, it is a homage to the American remake of the Japanese horror film, "Dark Water". Jennifer Connelly's character rides the tramway to her haunted apartment on Roosevelt Island.

Ah, the Epson Perfection V700. Mine has the serial # 00008.
#8 may be a collectors item, someday. But for now, it is the best scanner I have used.
This image of the whole frame is captivating and so well done, Paul. Bravo !!! -
