  I dropped a Nikon F off the back of a Baby Jolly Green as we were picking up wounded. It survived that one. Again, it fell on the runway when I was boarding an OV-10 FAC. It survived that, as well. In each case, I robbed cameras that had been completely ruined (used for parts). The back was replaced once, and the meter prism twice... once with just a regular prism which was all that was available. Nikon is the best along side Leica as the most dependable 35mm's I have ever used.
