This bronze couple stands near the water in Fremantle, Western Australia. The couple represents all migrants (I'm one) who arrived in the port city with hopes for a brand new life. The building behind the figures is the newly-built maritime museum which houses, among other things, Australia II, the yacht that finally relocated the America's Cup, for a time, to Australia.
