Smile!
This shot was taken during a class on lighting. The girl is smiling at the "assigned" photographer, whose hair you see in the foreground. Hand-held with a 200mm lens, and shutter speed of 1-2 seconds, with the aperture set for the flash. Then time it so the photographer takes his shot; firing the flash heads for me.
